Victory Garden course at Milagro Allegro *another update*

2010 February 27

Yes, we have yet another update!  We may be adding a third offering of the Victory Garden class in English. Please check back with the instructor, Milli-Macen Moore milli.macen.moore@mac.com  this week!

Please note that due to the overwhelming interest in this course received, we have added a second class in English and will be the sole site in Los Angeles to offer a third class taught in Spanish. Unfortunately at this time, we believe that all three offerings of the class at Milagro Allegro in Highland Park are full; we suggest that interested folks try another location offering the class in Los Angeles by visiting the  UC Cooperative Extension website.  Please see the Victory Garden Course press release for additional information about the course.

The “Grow LA Victory Garden Initiative” through the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program is an opportunity to become a certified Victory Gardener. The course will be taught locally at Milagro Allegro by our dear friend and Master Gardener, Milli Macen-Moore on a series of Saturday/Sunday afternoons in April.    To learn more, please see the attached victory garden course flyer and registration information, press release, or visit http://celosangeles.ucdavis.edu for more information.

    Nicole-

It’s Wing! I really want to take the victory garden course but can’t make the first weekend. My garden needs attention.

Is it possible to take the second week as a beginner?

    Let me know.

    Thanks,

    W
